The Lions Club is a service organization dedicated to improving the lives of its members and the communities they serve by providing humanitarian initiatives. The Lions Club believes in the power of service and strives to make meaningful, long-lasting impact on its communities. Through every challenge, the Lions Club serves in a variety of ways—by helping the less fortunate, responding to disasters, aiding young people, and protecting the environment. For nearly a century, the Lions Club has harnessed the power of its members to build a better future. Lions Club members have been instrumental in solving local and global problems, from fighting hunger and poverty to protecting the environment. Lions Club members come from various backgrounds, but all share a commitment to service. Individually, members help in their own special way. Together, they create a team of dedicated volunteers that serve in their local communities and beyond. From collecting eye glasses and building parks, to supporting families in need and raising environmental awareness, Lions Club members have been tackling today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities. Whether they are providing essential supplies or simply lending their time, the collective efforts of Lions Club members have been making a positive impact in the lives of millions for almost 100 years.

Disaster Relief

Whenever and wherever disaster strikes, Lions are often among the first to offer aid. Through generous donations to the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and local Lions club fundraising efforts, Lions work to provide immediate relief and restoration to those affected by natural and man-made disasters. LCIF assesses the need and then works directly with Lions or through affiliates to provide immediate response to disaster-affected communities. LCIF is backed by the worldwide Lions community of 1.5 million members in 207 countries and geographic areas. By taking the lead in providing food, shelter and medical aid to impacted regions, Lions help to restore hope and give people the tools they need to rebuild their lives. LIONS QUEST

  Lions Quest is an international educational program that has been developed and implemented by the Lions Club International. It has been designed to equip pre-adolescents, adolescents, and educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to become responsible citizens and socially active members of their communities. The program aims to create life-long learners through a combination of character education, service-learning experiences and social/emotional/mental-health skill building.
