Congratulations to all the newly elected Lion leaders of the 2023-2024 LCIF Board of Trustees!

We are confident that you will be successful in supporting the mission of Lions Clubs International (LCI) and helping to achieve the goal of providing the means for 1.5 million Lions worldwide to serve their communities. It will require wise strategizing and the utmost dedication from your respective committees to ensure that this mission is reached – and that is where this Board of Trustees comes in. Much of the success of these upcoming years will require fundraising and donations to properly reach the 1.5 million-member goal. As Lion leaders, you must come together and create a detailed and persuasive plan to reach potential donors. Explain why it is important that every aspect of LCI’s mission is achieved, what it says about Lions Clubs’ commitment to the cause, and how the donor will benefit from contributing. Additionally, the grants LCI provides to those in need are an essential part of ou mission as Lions. This Board of Trustees has the power to support crucial grants and allocate funds to those who need them the most. The processes for securing and allocating grants must be carefully reviewed and organized, as all portions of the organization will rely on the efficient decisions made in the granting process. All in all, these upcoming years will be full of challenges, tests, and rewards for the LCI Board of Trustees. With decisive planning and clever strategizing, LCI will leverage the mission of 1.5 million world-wide Lions to help those in need. Whenever and wherever disaster strikes, Lions are often among the first to offer aid. Through generous donations to the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and local Lions club fundraising efforts, Lions work to provide immediate relief and restoration to those affected by natural and man-made disasters. LCIF assesses the need and then works directly with Lions or through affiliates to provide immediate response to disaster-affected communities. LCIF is backed by the worldwide Lions community of 1.5 million members in 207 countries and geographic areas.
