Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) is dedicated to bringing hope, dignity and power to those who need it most, including individuals with intellectual disabilities. Through its global network of Clubs and Foundation partnerships, LCIF creates life-changing opportunities for those living with cognitive disabilities. For communities in which they work, LCIF provides tools and resources to promote dignity, inclusion, self-determination, empowerment and access to educational opportunities. By providing grants that empower individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families to live with autonomy and purpose, LCIF works to create a more equitable, inclusive and empowered future for all. Through its global services and programs, LCIF supports the physical, emotional and social needs of those with intellectual disabilities, enabling them to increase their independence and self-determination. This allows them to participate fully in their communities, gain meaningful skills, contribute to society and fulfill their ambitions. LCIF works to bring hope and dignity to those facing significant obstacles in achieving their dreams. Whenever and wherever disaster strikes, Lions are often among the first to offer aid. Through generous donations to the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and local Lions club fundraising efforts, Lions work to provide immediate relief and restoration to those affected by natural and man-made disasters. LCIF assesses the need and then works directly with Lions or through affiliates to provide immediate response to disaster-affected communities. LCIF is backed by the worldwide Lions community of 1.5 million members in 207 countries and geographic areas.   Lions Quest is an international educational program that has been developed and implemented by the Lions Club International. It has been designed to equip pre-adolescents, adolescents, and educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to become responsible citizens and socially active members of their communities.
